The UNDP-GEF project "Support of green urban development in small and medium-sized cities of Belarus" works on a mobile application that promotes cycling routes with an audio guide across Belarus’ the oldest - Polatsk and the youngest towns - Navapolatsk.
The audio guide offers fans of active eco-friendly leisure an opportunity to combine a nice ride with an interesting excursion, to get acquainted with the rich history and view the spectacular scenery of the both towns. The routes for cycling tours were offered by the activists from the local public association "Bicycle Club Versta". The content for the audio guide is designed in partnership with the expects from the regional museum. The launch of the application is scheduled for the cycling season in 2021.
The project "Support to Green Urban Development in Small and Medium Cities of Belarus" is funded by the Global Environment Facility and implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus.
